Dr. Catherine Lindstrand, owner and lead veterinarian,  opened the Isabella Cat Clinic in 1998 and has been providing excellent medical care to the felines of Isabella County and the surrounding area ever since. Dr. Lindstrand graduated from Iowa State University and originally thought she wanted to be an equine veterinarian! Clients come from near and far for her specialized medical care. Dr. Lindstrand is particularly interested in feline internal and geriatric medicine. She enjoys learning new things and implementing them into practice on a daily basis. Dr. Lindstrand also has a strong passion for hospice and end-of-life care for all species of animals, and because of this, decided to open Animal Hospice of Mid-Michigan in 2023 on top of running ICC!

When not at work, Dr. Lindstrand enjoys hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and reading mystery novels. She has two adult children, one dog, three cats,  three horses and a pony, several canaries and finches, and a few chickens.

Dr. Paul McNeilly, DVM

Dr. Paul McNeilly graduated from Michigan State University and was the former owner of Clare Animal Hospital in Clare, Michigan. Dr. McNeilly owned Clare Animal Hospital from 1982 until 2020 and practiced medicine there for 30+ years. We are so excited to be bringing Dr. McNeilly in part-time to join the team here at ICC in February 2024!  Dr. McNeilly is a skilled surgeon and loves spending time in the operating room.  In fact, he once told us that he would love to work in a surgical center he enjoys surgery so much!  Dr. McNeilly will be spending most of his time with us performing surgical services, however, he has also expressed interest in our hospice program and may be seeing some hospice patients on occasion as well. Welcome to the practice, Dr. McNeilly!

Dr. Jessie Petersen, DVM

Dr. Jessie Petersen graduated from Michigan State University and has been practicing medicine in the Mid-Michigan area for the last several years.  Dr. Petersen actually shadowed with us for several years while she attended Central Michigan University before she decided to go to veterinary school, and we are beyond thrilled to welcome her back to the practice! We are so excited to be bringing her in to work part-time starting in February 2024.  Dr. Petersen has a passion for TNR (trap-neuter-release), loves surgery, and of course loves feline medicine!  She also enjoys seeing urgent care and routine wellness appointments! Dr. Petersen shares her home with her husband, Eric, three dogs, several cats, some fish, and even goats and sheep! Welcome back, Dr. Petersen!
